- Guest Identity: Full name, primary email address, and mobile phone number for reservation verification and check-in coordination.
- Reservation Specifications: Chalet type selection, stay dates, guest occupancy (adults, children, infants), and optional meal plan preferences.
- Special Requests: Any dietary, accessibility, or celebratory requests submitted during checkout.
2. Secure Payment Processing (Amwal Pay APG)
We partner exclusively with Amwal Pay (Amwal Payment Gateway), a licensed Central Bank of Oman payment processor, for all online transactions:
- No Stored Card Details: White Sugar Dunes Resort servers do not capture, transmit, or store your raw credit/debit card numbers, CVV codes, or banking PINs.
- HMAC-SHA256 Cryptographic Verification: Every payment request and server notification is signed with cryptographic HMAC-SHA256 checksums to prevent tampering or interception.
- End-to-End Encryption:All payment sessions are conducted over TLS 1.3 encrypted tunnels directly within Amwal Pay's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure.
3. Data Protection & Processing Law
In accordance with Oman Royal Decree No. 6/2022 (Personal Data Protection Law), your personal information is used exclusively for:
- Confirming and managing your reservation and chalet preparation.
- Sending automated booking vouchers, tax invoices, and confirmation emails.
- Coordinating arrival logistics via WhatsApp or phone.
- Complying with mandatory Sultanate of Oman tourism and hospitality reporting requirements.
We never sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third-party advertisers or data brokers.
4. Cookies, Analytics & Web Protection
