WHITE SUGAR DUNES RESORT (WSDR) OMAN TERMS & CONDITION FOR RESERVATION IN BRIEF

  • Reservations will be valid only upon the payment of rates agreed either in advance or at the check in to the resort. Or only on the written confirmation from an authorized online booking flatform in which the rooms are sold by the resort.
  • Contracted/Agreed rates and prices for the contracted services will not be changed. But any additional services of the same nature may be subject to new rates/prices, if changes take place interim.
  • Other & additional services should be paid separately at the resort immediately after obtaining the services.
  • All government taxes: Tourism tax-4%+ Municipality tax-5%+ VAT 5% are included in the prices and rates. Any increase in taxes and/or new taxes between the booking date and check in date should be paid by the guest.
  • Reservations are subjected to the details T&Cs of Resort operations and T&Cs between the Resort and Destination management Company (DMC) or the Online platform through which bookings are made.
  • The resort is bound to provide the basic details of each guest to the Royal Oman Police as one of the legal compliances. The resort will submit the name, nationality, travel/national identity document number and date of stay of each guest as mandated. This notice here in the website is considered as the consent of each guest for this submission.
  • In support of the go-green initiatives of the resort, the resort request from all guests’ conscious usage and save of water and electricity, zero food wastage and follow “keep the surrounding clean” practices.
  • The resort has “lost & found” service. However, guest will be individually responsible for the security of their belongings & possession during the stay at the resort.
  • Guests are subject to the rules and regulations of the Sultanate of Oman for their behaviour and for valid transactions made with the resort.
  • The resort is located in a restricted area and a natural habit of known and unknown desert dwelling diurnal and nocturnal creatures and animals. While guests can take the opportunity to enjoy them, the resort policy of leaving their space, privacy and safety should be followed.
  • Public photography that may capture other people is only allowed with the consent of subjective people.
  • Preparation of meals/Cooking of food in any form inside the chalets or within the resort is not allowed, unless permitted by the resort which is unlikely.
  • Verification of all the guests and obtaining copies of identification documents are mandatory and regulated at the check-in to the resort.
  • Number of chalets & number of days booked will only be changed subject to the availability.
